After prep, while younger children go home, a dynamic evening activity programme is offered for all those older children who wish to stay on. For these, there is a wide choice of clubs, societies and hobbies ranging from chess to rifle shooting, badminton to art and craft, ballet to mountain biking. Children clamour to be able to stay on each evening to take part in activities, which also form the foundation of our flexible boarding provision.Many, particularly those seeking boarding places at senior schools, choose flexible boarding as a gentle yet purposeful introduction to full boarding and they do so within the security, familiarity and warmth of the Ashfold family.
Thirty acres of parkland, woodland and an outstanding adventure play area provide the space for firm friendships to be forged and for children to play and have fun. At the end of a very full day and week, Ashfold children return home on Friday evening having had the time of their life.
